A note from the Haptique team.

We started Haptique in 2023 with a simple idea: controlling a home should feel calm, fast, and reliable. Not just from a phone, not only through voice, and not through a stack of disconnected apps.

In 2024, we brought our hardware work to Kickstarter with the Haptique RS90 and RS90X. That journey taught us a lot. It showed us that people still care deeply about physical control, but it also showed us how difficult it is to scale an idea through hardware alone.

The work we had done was bigger than a remote. It was about rooms, AV systems, scenes, mobile apps, drivers, HomeKit, local runtimes, and the way all of those pieces should work together.

We are also living through an AI-first era, and that is no longer a future idea. It is real. Haptique OS is our way of joining that journey with practical AI built into the home itself: AI that understands rooms, devices, scenes, media, drivers, and the way people actually speak about their spaces.

So we decided to make the software the center of the company. Haptique OS is our way of sharing that work more widely. It can run almost anywhere: a small house, a personal setup, an AV room, or a corporate space. The place matters less than the application.

After more than three years of dedicated work in smart home and home AV, we are building Haptique OS as a local, practical operating layer where every AI capability acts like a teammate for setup, control, automation, and support.
