UI Lab is for shaping the user-facing control experience before it is treated as production configuration.
What to validate
Section titled “What to validate”- Space names and room order.
- Logical device labels.
- Scene names and icons.
- Favorite placement.
- Music and AV control layout.
- RS90 button behavior.
- Mobile and tablet views.
Workflow
Section titled “Workflow”- Pick one Space.
- Review the controls users need most often.
- Remove duplicate or installer-only labels.
- Confirm scenes and favorites are easy to scan.
- Test the same user flow from mobile and RS90.
- Publish the approved layout through the normal project or Fleet release process.
Good outcome
Section titled “Good outcome”The UI is ready when a non-installer can enter the Space, understand the main controls, and operate the room from mobile or RS90 without knowing which integration is underneath.
