Installation
Install Haptique OS on the computer that will act as your local home controller.
- Download the macOS installer from the official portal.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Move Haptique OS to Applications if prompted.
- Open Haptique OS.
- Allow required local permissions.
- Confirm the Mac menu bar companion appears.
- Open the dashboard.
Linux and dedicated hardware
Section titled “Linux and dedicated hardware”Use the installer or deployment package provided for your release. Haptique OS can run on supported local hardware when configured for the target platform.
Recommended setup
Section titled “Recommended setup”- Keep the Haptique OS host on a stable network connection.
- Reserve its IP address in your router.
- Make sure it can reach devices you want to control.
- Prevent the host from sleeping during normal control hours.
